At VISION Hockey, we unite passion and potential on the ice.
Founded in 2011 by Aaron Brand, VISION Hockey has been committed to fostering the talent and ambition of young, aspiring hockey players who share a deep love for the game.
Aaron Brand, the driving force behind VISION Hockey, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our program. His early years were spent with the Newmarket Royals and Sarnia Sting in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), where he honed his skills and earned recognition such as the Eddie Powers Memorial Trophy for the OHL Scoring Title in the 1995-96 season. His dedication and skill were further recognized with the Leo Lalande Memorial Trophy for Overage Player of the Year in the same season. Transitioning to the professional level, Aaron spent ten years making his mark with teams such as the St. John’s Maple Leafs, Innsbruck Austria, and the Port Huron Flags. His journey also intersected with the NHL, where he participated in six training camps with the Hartford Whalers, Toronto Maple Leafs, and Detroit Red Wings. In the 1997 Maccabiah Games, Aaron proudly represented Team Canada, clinching the gold medal. Rounding out his professional career, he played a pivotal role in securing the 2008 Allan Cup Championship with the Brantford Blast. Aaron was inducted into the Sarnia Sting Hall of Fame class of 2024, honouring his contributions to building the success of the Sting hockey club in Sarnia-Lambton.
His passion for the game led to his decision to start VISION Hockey. As the founder, coach, and instructor, he brings his unique blend of professional experience and personal dedication to every session.
